In the heart of Garfagnana, between Parco Regionale delle Alpi Apuane and Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco -Emiliano, inside which is located the natural oasis of Orecchiella. We also are 5 minutes walk away from the Camporgiano station and You can move by bike and train.
We are distant about 1 hour from Lucca, 1 hour and half from Pisa and little more from Florence. Lastly, We are distant about 1 hour by car from spa of Bagni di Lucca with which We are affiliated.
How to get there..
Coming from te A11 motorway, both from the South and from the North, We recommend the Capannori exit. After leaving the motorway, folloy the signs for Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, and after the town of Marlia you wull find a large ESSELUNGA shopping center on your right.
Here You will have to make the roundabout following the signs fo Garfagnana and/or Castelnuovo Garfagnana, You will cross the Serchio river. Then, you will be on Strada Lodovica, continue straight on for about 30-40 minutes until Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Arrived at the roundabout near Castelnuovo, We suggest you to take the ring road tunnel and then followe the signs for San Romano. Keep going straight following the road, for about 15 minutes until You will find on your right a sign with the words San Romano di Garfagnana. After that sign, cross the bridge at the first street on the left, follow the signs CAMPORGIANO. After crossing the bridge over the river Serchio, We are there. Coming from Parma- La Spezia motorway and/or the Tirrenica, the exit is Aulla. Follow the signs for Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. After about 45 minutes, arrived in PIazza al Serchio, take the direction of San Romano di Garfagnana and after the town, take the road on the right that indicates Camporgiano.
